How do I Match with someone and start chatting?

There are a couple ways to Match with people:

1. If someone already Liked your profile, you'll see them in the Likes You​​ tab. ​​If you want to Match with them, tap the Match button and their profile will move to Matches, where you can start chatting. 
2. You can also Like people who haven't seen your profile yet. Tap on Discover​​ and like the part of a profile that stands out to you most by tapping on the red heart. You can also leave a comment. (Users who leave comments are 3x more likely to receive a response!)​​ Tap the​ checkmark to send out your Like.
3. Standouts can be accessed by tapping the star icon. Just like in Discover, you can respond to your favorite part of their profile. Except-- with Standouts, you send a Rose instead of a Like. You're also able to add a comment along with your Rose. 

Not interested in someone? Skipping to the next person indicates to us (and our algorithm) that you weren't feeling it. To skip in Discover, tap the black X. To skip in Standouts, just swipe the profile to the left.
