How can I change what language I see in the Hinge app?

To change which language appears in the app for Android:

1. Tap your Photo icon on the far right of your navigation bar

2. Tap the Gear icon

3.  Scroll down to the Language & Region section and tap App Language

4. This will take you to the Languages setting for your device. Tap +Add a language and choose the language you wish to use. Note: Only English, German and Swedish are currently available, but we hope to add more soon!

5. Move your preferred Language to the first (1) position.  

6. Tap the back arrow (<) in the upper left-hand corner to return to the Settings page

• Note: Changing the Language for Android will change the language for your device, not just the Hinge app. 

To change which language appears in the app for iOS: 

1. Tap your Photo icon on the far right of your navigation bar

2. Tap the Gear icon

3. Scroll down to the Language & Region section and tap App Language

4. Under Preferred Language, tap Language to view available languages for Hinge. 

• Note: If you do not see Preferred Language, please follow the link from Apple Support to add your preferred language to your device: Apple Support

5. Select the language you prefer for Hinge. 

6. Once you've made your selection, any change will appear when you navigate back to the Hinge app.
