What are Video Prompts?

Video Prompts are very similar to our regular prompts but instead of pairing the prompt with a written answer, you pair it with a video.

You can follow the steps below to record your Video Prompt using your device camera:

1. Within the Hinge app, tap your Photo icon on the far right of the navigation bar
2. Tap on the Pencil icon
3. Tap on the box under Video Prompt
4. You might see a popup that asks you to give the app permission to take a photo/record a video
5. There will be a Prompt at the bottom of the screen! If you want to change this Prompt and select a new one, tap on it and make a new selection
6. When you've selected your prompt and are ready to record, press down and hold the white button
7. If you want to try recording your Video Prompt again, tap the X button in the top right-hand corner or tap Redo in the bottom left-hand corner
8. When you’re happy with your video, tap the purple arrow
9. If you’re an iOS user, tap Done. If you’re an Android user, tap the < arrow
